My husband and I cannot fault this practice. We are both with Dr. Eve Schirrmacher who we have known for many years and is a brilliant Doctor. Last year my husband was very ill and our Doctor was unavailable so he was seen by Dr. Thackeray another excellent Doctor at this practice. The Receptionists and the Nurses also do a brilliant job and are really helpful and caring. We would certainly recommend this practice to everyone.
Totaly unacceptable if you asking appointments to the GP they will do it one month before to see the GP if you call them afternoon they are closed supposed to be open until 6:00pm
Never had an issue with the receptionists here. Many years of great service, so they know me by sight now. You do have to wait for a gp appointment unless you need an urgent one, but it's pretty similar all over the country. Nurse practitioners are good and you can usually get a same day appointment. They can also prescribe and will check with the gp if it's something outside their knowledge.My gp phones me if bloods are outside my normal ranges and will check if having medical issues with a call if you request it.I do believe in treating people how I would like to be treated and it does go a long way. The receptionists are only doing their jobs and try to triage to get people in for urgent appointments, although everyone obviously wants to be seen quickly.I also work full time when my condition allows. Evening or weekend appointments would be nice, but I appreciate the gp's have families too and They have tried to recruit more gps. If you want to blame anyone for the current long waiting times, it's the government you need to get angry with.
9/10 times there is a positive helpful outcome
*** BRILLIANT*** I think the reception staff here are fantastic and to be frank I have seen them put up with ALOT of abuse when in actual fact they have done nothing wrong !! I have a family of four and we all get an extremely lovely service - we even receive telephone calls to make sure we are all up to date with things .
