Have just returned from a 4 night business trip (Victory Pier, Kent). Nice, clean, well decorated rooms, but this review is really for the staff. The service was great. Staff couldnt do enough for you. A special thanks to David, who really went above and beyond when I asked for something and then theres Chef Les, who brightened up our 6:30am starts every morning, with his happy / cheery attitude, hearty breakfast and the best poached eggs, cooked fresh!

Nice room etc, all standard stuff. There were lots of us heading to a wedding next day, the team handled our dinner brilliantly. Thanks to the chefs and waitresses, Emma was fantastic!

Awful place we arranged to meet my husbands cousin who was staying there with her family for breakfast. As there was going to be six of us he tried the night before to book a table but was told they could not take bookings for breakfast . We arranged to meet at nine and were surprised how small the breakfast area was in such a large hotel. Of course there was no space after a fifteen minute wait we were offered two very small tables pushed together. There was not enough staff and the tables were full of dirty plates and dirty tables and floor. Was really surprised as usually they are excellent and this is a new hotel. The breakfast was not up to the normal good standard.

On check in the reception staff only wanted to do as little as possible. There are persistent wet floor signs in the corridor in front of the toilets making the already narrow corridor evermore difficult to navigate with a wheelchair. We found the bed very soft with a hard lump down the centre. The design of the accessible room allowed very little turning space due to poor placement of the cupboard and shelf. The mirror was sited too high to be able to use the hair dryer. There are many small things that could be done to improve accessibility. Would we return? Not if we can help it.

This is the most amazing Premier Inn.I have stayed here on several occasions & always had a great experience. The warm & friendly staff are a breath of fresh air. I have had poorer service from top 4 & 5 star hotels. We happened to stay here on our way back from Disney land Paris, it was New year's Eve, on our way home north. The kind staff had ensured that every room had a complimentary bottle of bubbly waiting for all of the guests, it wasn't an expensive gift, but the gesture goes to show how the team here go that extra mile for their guests. Thank you to all the team.
