Fields are usually usable and kept well and outdoor play area contains a large enough variety of activities for kids. If you are walking a dog or just a quick walk I would recommend however fields are very slanted and not enough to do to make a day out of it.

Lovely park area for under 11 year oldd to play in, with a secure fence all the way round. Vast grass area with 4-5 football pitches.
Good place to walk your dog's loads of friendly people about
