A great museum, this place is a lot larger than it looks, there are some great displays that cover the history of the royal engineers. All housed in a building designed by the royal engineers. They also have a great education team with whom you can book tours and workshops.
My 7 year old son loves it here. Very reasonable entry fee. Pay once and the ticket lasts for 12 months. Very educational, but also fun, with kids activities throughout school holidays. Worth a visit.
One of the best museum where I was. Lots of to see. So much fun for all family. My boy was excited by all visit, and definitely we will back there again.
Amazing museum, very respectfully displayed, well laid out and interesting content. A real journey through the history of The Royal Engineers. Definitely more than meets the eye and a great place for children to learn through the fun interactive displays dotted throughout. Great place to visit.
So interesting! This is our second visit and I can't believe this place is always so quiet! So much to see, so we'll presented and so much local history! Find out why we have Gordon School, Kitchener Avenue, Alma Terrace...It's all there! My Dad was in Christmas Island during the Atom bomb tests and is going to donate his memoirs so it's going to be even better soon! Excellent value for money and definitely worth a visit...
