A lovely place to walk, run or cycle round. Large lake, can buy food for ducks ,& swans. Nice little cafe, play area for kids.
The park is great, good toilets and cafe (which close at 4). Kids had a great time feeding the ducks and swans and playing in the park. There are all sorts walks that can be taken, foraging, play area, lake fishing and duck/swan feeding. Overall a really nice place to go to relax in nature.There is even a dry ski slope next door.However...The metal speed bump leaving the carpark is so high and short it hit the underside of my car (Ford Focus estate). So, great if you have a 4x4, not so great if you can't afford to keep replacing your exhaust, or if you have a really expensive car with a low ride height.
