Women didn't let me finish my order kept rushing me was very rude. Older lady. Bad food also.
Lovely owners and lovely cakes but had a very bad experience with the red haired shop assistant. I travelled 30 miles to buy some favourite cakes and the shop assistant shouted at me for being them as nobody else could buy them now. She was really rude and I felt upset after making such an effort. She said that in the future I'd have to make a call to reserve cakes. That was a terrible thing to say. I went out of my way to support a local baker and was shouted at because I bought some cakes. I won't bother with them again. The owners don't deserve staff like that as they're great and the cakes are lovely.
2 members of staff, one very sweet. The tall lady was so rude and So unhelpful. We were there to choose what we wanted and she just kept rolling her eyes. Never again
Ive never been served by such a rude lady! Did not make me feel welcome at all, had her back to me the entire time i was talking and even walked away while i was asking her about a filling, she only turned around to pick my order out and even then she was so rude and blunt, would not waste a penny here! Cakes are overpriced for their size and the selection is minimal, no hair nets seen either!! absolutely disgraceful service. Will never be returning!.
In the morning 25/4/17 bought 4 almond tarts. Old, hard, not fresh. Badly made, can see was saving money on ingredients, just a bread with few drops of almond flavor and minute of cheap jam. Couldn't eat, gave to my dog. Never will be back. Yesterday in another bakery I bought almond tart. Was wonderful and I thought will be the same here. But not. very disappointed.
