It was lovely and clean, new climbing equipment installed with all safe surfaces in very good condition. Shame the parking is so expensive for families visiting. When the charges first came out I had to go to the Riverside instead as we didn't have a pound coin to sirens just an hour there. The children were so disappointed.

As I said a thousand times already I been going to the strand all my life I'm now 57 and in all that time I've never had a bad experience. That's not to say it doesn't happen it's like anywhere but family's go there all the time with no money or very little..the train miniature ride only cost a pound that's all you pay for although I think parking charges may apply but it's worth it a great day out
This park is nice but could use more apparatus for different age ranges as seems a little bair, but never the less the pirate ship and swings and the bits that are there are good. It's better in the summer here but good cheap place to go for the family.
The strand is always an excellent place to bring kids when the weather is good, paddling pool, outdoor swimming pool all clean and tidy. Kids sandpit area, crazy golf, cafe and ice creams plus a ride on mini railway for 2 each. Shame about car park no longer free of charge but I understand why. The kids climbing stuff is in good condition and plentiful. The zip wire needs fixing though as that's usually a firm favourite xx
